Hi, I’m Orlando
I’m a highly motivated mixer/engineer based in the Los Angeles area. I’m passionate about my craft and have many years of experience. My approach is simple. I like to stay out of the way and let the music shine.
I’ve been fortunate to have worked with legendary musicians, including Abraham Laboriel, Joey DeFrancesco, Alex Acuña, Justo Almario, percussionist Ron Powell, Lee Rocker (Stray Cats) and Little Willie G. (Thee Midniters). But I am equally proud of my work with up-and-coming local bands and artist.
I have also worked on television productions that include an Emmy nominated song for The Young And The Restless and ADR cutting for Law & Order. Throughout 2019, I worked with Kobe Bryant at his Granity Studios as a recording engineer for Kobe’s ESPN Detail and as an audio editor for The Punies podcast.
Beyond the studio, I am an active live sound engineer with experience in all genres including orchestral classical music and house of worship.
In recent years I have delved into the world of “Playback” where I’ve had the pleasure of playing backing tracks for Trace Adkins, Sheila E, Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), Mary Mary, Alex Fernandez, The President’s Own Marine Chamber Orchestra and the Fox Network to name a few.

tracking
It all begins with an idea
Tracking is the process of recording all the different instruments in a song. The right gear, the right space and the right vibe are crucial.
I have a network of recording studios to accommodate your project. Including my home base Madman Sound Recording Studio where I’ve been working since 2016. For a bit more elbow room 37th St. Joseph Studios, for an even bigger band or ensemble Love and Laughter Studios and for an all out huge sound, Citrus Recording Studios.
Give your music what it deserves!
mixing
Make it all come together
Mixing is the process of treating and balancing individual elements in your song. Fat bass, punchy drums, lushes vocals, all while maintaining your song’s integrity.

mastering
Put the cherry on top
During mastering, the over all tone and level of your mix will be improved to accommodate your release formate. It’s the last coat of shimmer before your song is let out into the world.
